We measure the height from the threshold to the top of the frame, take away 16 mm, saw off two sidewalls of the slope to this size, fasten them, with two screws each, to the frame. We put the top of the slope on them (that's why we made the sidewalls 16 mm shorter) and fasten it to the frame in the same way as the threshold. This method is used with a slope depth of up to 15 cm, which is most often obtained in a panel house.
Then we fill the cracks inside the slope with foam. This will give rigidity to the slope itself, and additional noise insulation and heat savings to the apartment. Next, at an angle of 45 degrees, we cut off the platbands and nail the last with finishing nails. Nail caps are bitten off with pliers – so they will be invisible.
